Nothing much … just completed exercise 8 of “Learn Ruby The Hard Way” — I really like this book by Michael Hartl. Its is really neat and well-designed, very beautiful web interface. Guess it is written in Ruby as well ?

How long would you guys say it would take to create a mobile app ( like one of these --------------------------:Top 15 Sites Built with Ruby on Rails in Ruby) ?
Depends, a clone of twitter could be done fairly quickly, and is used as an example in a few rails tutorials. Something like Shopify would take longer — but the beauty of Ruby (and Rails) is that with good knowledge you can set anything up fairly quickly in a good style.
