This article has announced “Adding end-to-end encrypted messaging to your app just got a lot easier” showing a JavaScript user side encryption you can add with Twilio.
I just looked into it and Signal has a JavaScript desktop app they’re building for the Chrome store and as it’s JavaScript I’m sure this can be integrated into our own sites for end to end message encryption and integration with the Signal messenger https://whispersystems.org/.
