What tools do you use to automate testing?
Selenium Webdriver + Ruby, right?
For my testing I use various Ruby gems, together with a custom framework:
- Web applications: watir (underlying technology is Selenium Webdriver)
- REST API: rest-client
- SOAP API: savon
- Unit testing: minitest

watir + selenium will allows you to do everything you want with a browser, including execute javascript
